SOSEC Nepal is going to implement SAHAYATRA III Project in partnership with Save the Children in Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality in Dailekh district.   1. Position: Sr Project Coordinator SLaM – 1 (One)

Summary of the Post: The Senior Project Coordinator- SLaM is responsible for the implementation of  SLaM activities of the Sahayatra III project. The position holder will contribute to implement SLaM interventions, and be responsible for coordination and capacity development of staffs on SLaM. Moreover, the position holder will be responsible for collecting quantitative and qualitative data, thoroughly documenting project implementation, experiences and lessons learnt and effects/ results, and effectively communicate findings to all stakeholders. The position holder will work in close coordination with Sahayatra – III project team, based in different locations.

S/he will provide technical support to field and palika based education staffs for the timely and accurate implementation of program, monitoring and reporting of the project activities and ensure the quality.

Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Education or Research Studies, Development Studies, Social Work, or related Social Sciences
  • Preferred the candidates who worked as PC SLaM for Sahayatra Project
  • Minimum 3 years (2years for GSI group*). experience in related field especially in a technical support

Summary of the Post: The Project Coordinator-Education is responsible for ensuring quality delivery of the project at implementing sites by maximizing the impact as per the organization plan and project strategies. S/He will make effective planning, quality implementation, monitoring, reporting, and financial and stakeholder management in close consultation and guidance from the Program Manager.  Overall management of education programs in selected Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality, including ECCD, Basic Education including CCDRR in close coordination and collaboration with CRG & CP and Sub Engineer under Sahayatra III Project. S/He will provide backstop support to Education Section of the Municipality, in preparation, implementation and monitoring of activities planned by them in Education.  The position holder will need to work in close coordination with SCI project team in the district and technical person.

S/He will work in the direct supervision/management of the Program Manager in the Project site office. Summary of the Post: This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting of SRHR activities under the SAHAYATRA-III project at the district and municipal levels. The role involves close coordination and collaboration with key government counterparts such as the Health Service Office (HSO), Health Unit of R/Municipalities and Health Facilities (HFs), as well as I/NGOs and other relevant external stakeholders and project team to ensure the effective implementation of SRHR activities, leveraging resources within the SRHR sector. The incumbent will contribute to strengthening the government health system in relation to SRHR programs. Additionally, the position holder will closely work with the field level project team and provide onsite support and coaching to them and ensure timely and quality program delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health with 2 years of working experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Public Health OR Nursing with 4 years of demonstrated work experience in health related projects.
  • Previous experience in managing project related to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) is preferred.

This position requires close coordination and collaboration with key government counterparts, including Environment, Agriculture, Disaster, and other concern units, as well as I/NGOs and other relevant external stakeholders, to ensure the effective implementation of climate change interventions. The incumbent will contribute to strengthening community resilience and adaptive capacity to climate change and promote green jobs. Summary of the Post: The Pedagogical Resource Person (PRP) is entrusted with the responsibility of providing Teachers Professional Development (TPD) of early grade teachers, including those in Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD). This role involves offering on-the-spot coaching and mentoring to teachers, conducting observations in classrooms, facilitating mobile meetings, organizing workshops on effective teaching and learning techniques, and managing the coordination of coaching and mentoring activities in collaboration with the municipality. Additionally, the PRP will contribute to innovation in schools, oversee performance-based awards for teachers and schools, and execute other duties as required within the framework of the Sahayatra III project. This role necessitates close coordination with the Project Coordinator-Education, Program Manager, and the SCI Project Coordinator-SAHAYATRA III.

S/He will work in the direct supervision/management of the Program Manager in the Project site office. S/He will work in close coordination/collaboration with relevant government institutions based in the Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality to ensure necessary involvement of the relevant stakeholders.   • At least bachelor’s degree in education with experience of PRP in Sahayatra project, Master’s degree in education is preferred

Summary of the Post: The position holder will execute all MEAL and Documentation related interventions to strengthen MEAL system and documentation in the organization especially on Sahayatra III Project. S/He will responsible to provide support for field level (field and district level) communication, documentation and reporting related matters, process with analysis of learning kept in place for further sharing. The position will provide information, reporting and media related support to the Sahayatra III project in coordination with the media and communication department in field office and  district. At times, she is support to develop capacity of staff in close coordination with technical team at Save the Children to implement this project through various approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Management, Social Science or any discipline
  • Preferred the candidates who worked as MEAL, Reporting and Documentation officer for Sahayatra Project at least three years  with Bachelor’s Degree and SC funded projects

Summary of the Post: The Construction Officer is responsible for overall management of construction and renovation work of Sahayatra III in close coordination and collaboration with Program Manager. S/He will provide backstop support to Education Section of the Rural Municipalities, in preparation, implementation and monitoring of activities planned by them in Construction and renovation work. S/He will work in collaboration with Coordination Unit (DECU), Municipal Education departments/offices, different relevant stakeholders, and timely implementation of planned activities.

In addition, s/he ensures the regular monitoring of key process indicators, alignment with refinement of the packages, related training content, and support to behaviour change communications, coordinate with relevant stakeholders for sharing of lessons learnt for consistent uptake by other stakeholders. Furthermore, s/he works in close coordination with other thematic areas of Project.

The role holder is also responsible for ensuring quality delivery of the project at implementing sites by maximizing the impact as per the organization plan and project strategies. S/he will make effective planning, quality implementation, monitoring, reporting, financial and stakeholder management in close consultation and guidance from the Program Manager S/he will also work to strengthen networking and collaboration with child rights/ civil society organizations to promote child rights. The position holder will need to work in close coordination with SCI project team in the district and technical person as well.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant field

Summary of the Post: Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator – Climate Change and Green Jobs, the Field Officer – Climate Change and Green Jobs will be responsible for leading and facilitating community-level climate change and green job activities. This involves close coordination with local government units such as agriculture, environment, disaster, education and stakeholders, youth groups, schools and other community-level entities. The Field Officer will work closely with the municipality’s environment, agriculture, education units, both public and private sector actors, as well as coordinators/officers from related themes, to foster an enabling environment and ensure that project activities are executed according to quality benchmarks. Additionally, the role includes providing onsite technical support and coaching to community members, groups and local workers, promoting climate resilience and sustainable livelihood practices.

Qualifications:

Summary of the Post: Psychosocial Counsellor is responsible to assess the vulnerability and Psychosocial status of most deprived children and provide Psychosocial Counselling those children and care takers who needs counselling service. The position holder will support to case Para Social Worker/Case Workers to assess the situation and problem of children under the case management process. S/he further support to refer the cases who needs higher level of service to relevant service providers and institutions. S/he will be also facilitating the orientation and training session for project staffs, local government representatives, government officials, child clubs, parents as per need of the project. The position holder will be responsible to look after the Psychosocial Service in other SAHAYATRA-III working palika as per need.

The Psychosocial Counsellor is responsible for overall management of psychosocial counselling services to most deprived children and their parents under SAHAYATRA-III and responsible to develop case stories, periodic reports and sharing it to line manager. Similarly, s/he will be responsible for close coordination with project team, child protection mechanisms, health professionals, women and children service centre at palika for the integration of vulnerable children through psychosocial counselling service.

Qualifications:

  • Six Months Psychosocial Counselling training or/ Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling from recognized institutions with two-year experience as counsellor/trainers/MHPSS Officers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Law, Human Rights, Education or other relevant discipline

Summary of the Post: Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator-SRHR, this position will be responsible for leading community level-SRHR activities in close coordination with health workers, mentors, HFOMC and youth groups and other community level stakeholders. The Field Officer-SRHR will collaborate closely with the municipality health unit, both public and private Health Facilities, as well as coordinators/officers from other themes, mentors/facilitators to create an enabling environment and ensure that project activities are accomplished as per the set quality standards. Additionally, the incumbent will work closely with mentors/facilitators, and local health workers, providing onsite technical support and coaching as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR Bachelor’s degree any discipline with Staff Nurse/AMN with 3 years of demonstrated work experience in health-related projects.
  • Previous experience in program related to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights is Preferred.
