As part of its ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive development, SOSEC Nepal conducted a comprehensive Social and GEDSI (Gender Empowerment, Disability, and Social Inclusion) Audit for the fiscal year 2080/081. This audit evaluates the organization’s programs, governance, and impact on marginalized communities, focusing on child rights, gender equality, social justice, and inclusive service delivery. The report reflects SOSEC’s proactive approach to reviewing its internal operations, financial management, and field-level initiatives while incorporating feedback from diverse stakeholders including government officials, beneficiaries, community leaders, and partner organizations.
This document highlights key findings from focus group discussions, interviews, policy reviews, and participatory public dialogues held during the audit process. It showcases SOSEC Nepal’s achievements in empowering women, children, Dalits, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups through projects in education, health, livelihoods, WASH, and emergency relief.
